hotshorts collects information about you as described below.

Information You Give Us: We may collect, store or process your information when you: create an account to access our Services; populate your in-app profile; contact our customer service or other contact points with inquiries; subscribe to communications; or voluntarily provide information including information you share with us through third-party log-ins.

The categories of personal information we will collect directly from you for the above purposes include:

• Identity and Contact Data such as your name, email address, and other identifiers you choose to provide.
• Account and profile information such as nickname, avatar, username and password. This information may also include information you provide through single-sign-on processes (such as through Google), including account name or account number (for example your user ID), email address or other identifiers needed to link your online account with our Services.
• Transaction Data including order identifiers, payment method chosen, amounts, and transaction references you submit (such as a USDT TxID).
• Marketing Preferences including any consents you have given us.
• Demographic Information such as country or language preference, where you provide it or we infer it from your request.

Social Login and User Content

You may be able to log in to our Services using third-party sign-in services ("Social Login") such as Google. These third-party Social Login platforms will authenticate your identity and provide you with the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name or email address to pre-populate our sign-up form. We may collect and record information through the relevant Social Login platform in accordance with the policies and terms of that Social Login platform. The information we may collect when you connect your user account to a Social Login platform may include your name, user identification number and/or user name, email address, and profile picture or its URL.

Our Services may allow you to create, upload or share content such as text, images, or profile information ("User Content"). User Content you create, upload, or otherwise share to the Services may be visible to other users depending on your settings. Please exercise caution when sharing personal information through User Content.

Information Collected Automatically

When you interact with or use our Services, we automatically collect certain information about your device and your use of our Services. This may include information such as your browser type and language, IP address, device ID, hardware and software information, watch and playback data, standard server log information, purchase histories with us, and social login data (if you have linked your account and in accordance with your sharing permissions). Information collected automatically includes:

• Device and technical data: unique device ID, hardware type, operating system and language, time zone, screen size, IP address, and general geolocation information (city/country based on IP address). This information is useful to us for troubleshooting and helps us understand usage trends so that we can improve and personalize the Services.
• User ID: When you register to use the Services, we create a unique user ID to track your use of our Services. This unique user ID is stored in connection with your profile information.
• Service data: watch history, last episode, unlocks, coin and VIP balances, session time, in-app purchases, and progression events used to mark your progress. This information may be associated with your user ID, IP address or device ID for the purpose of providing you with our Services, improving and personalizing them, or keeping purchases on the correct account.

Our Use of Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers may use standard tracking technologies (such as cookies, local storage, scripts and tags) to identify your computer/device, to remember things about your visit or your use of the Services (such as your language preference, session token, guest device id, and age-confirmation flag) and to help us understand what pages and features you use. Such information may be linked to or combined with other personal information we process about you, such as your user ID, to improve the quality of our Services, provide and personalize our Services, for fraud prevention, security and authentication purposes.

These technologies are required for login, playback, and the 18+ gate, not for third-party advertising on the Service itself. Your browser or device may include "Do Not Track" functionality. Because there is not yet a common understanding of how to interpret Do Not Track signals, we do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" signals.

How We Use Information

We use information collected through our Services, both individually and combined together, for purposes described in this Policy or disclosed to you in connection with our Services. For example, we may use your information to:

• Present our Services to you, create user accounts, and allow users to watch titles and use the Service.
• Understand you and your preferences to enhance and personalize your experiences.
• Respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service.
• Provide and deliver products and services you request, including coins, VIP, unlocks, and order confirmation.
• Create and confirm orders, credit coins or VIP, and prevent fraud or duplicate payments, including verifying a USDT-TRC20 transfer you asked us to check.

• Identify, fix and troubleshoot bugs and Service or functionality errors; measure the health of our Services.
• Save watch progress and unlocks; send you service-related information, including confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.
• Protect the integrity of the Services and enforce our Terms of Use, including to detect and prevent fraud and unauthorized activities, to secure our systems, and to keep our Services safe.
• Detect security incidents, protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent or illegal activity, and generally protect our legal rights and comply with law and regulation.
• Perform statistical, demographic, and marketing analyses of users of the Services; optimize or improve our products, Services and operations.
• Evaluate or conduct a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of our assets, in which personal information held by us about our users is among the assets transferred.

How We Disclose Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. hotshorts may disclose your information in the following circumstances.

• With our affiliates and subsidiaries, if any.
• With our Service Providers: we engage other companies and individuals to perform services on our behalf, such as analyzing data, IT, payment and blockchain lookup, sending emails (including password-reset mail), providing customer support, and security fraud-detection services. These providers may have access to your personal information in connection with the performance of services and are obligated to maintain confidentiality and security, and to use the data only on our behalf and for purposes consistent with this Policy.
• Third Party Plug-ins: we may share your personal information with third-party applications and platforms, such as Google sign-in, that authenticate you. This Policy does not apply to your use of any such third-party applications and services.
• Support channels you choose, such as Telegram, when you contact staff about an order.
• Disclosures to protect us or others: we may release your information as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law, establish or exercise our rights, investigate fraud, respond to a government request, or protect the rights, property, and safety of us or our users.
• Disclosures in the event of merger, sale or asset transfer: we may share your information in connection with any reorganization, merger, dissolution or other sale or transfer of our assets.
• Blockchain networks: on-chain USDT-TRC20 payments are public by design. Lookup services may be used to verify a transfer you asked us to check.

Other Important Information

Third-Party Websites and Social Media. Our Services may contain links to other sites, including those of third parties or partners. We cannot be responsible for the privacy practices other websites use. By accessing other third-party websites or applications through our Services, you are consenting to the terms and privacy policies of those websites.

Changes to the Policy. We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our information practices. If we make any material changes we will notify you by email (sent to the email address specified in your account, where available) or by means of a notice on the Services prior to the change becoming effective. You can see when this policy was last updated by checking the "last updated" date displayed at the top of this Policy.

Security. hotshorts takes reasonable and appropriate measures to protect your information from unauthorized access or against loss, misuse or alteration by third parties. Although we make good faith efforts to store the information collected on the Service in a secure operating environment, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of that information during its transmission or its storage on our systems.

Data Retention. We will retain your information for as long as it is needed to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, while your account is active or as needed to provide you with our Services. If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, contact us through in-app support. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to enforce our legal rights, and/or to enforce our agreements. Guest data may become unreachable if the device identifier is lost.

Our Policy Regarding Children. The Service is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from a child under the age of 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction of residence), nor do we knowingly allow children to use our Service. If you are under 18, please do not send any information about yourself to us. If you believe that we have collected personal information from a child, please contact us. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete that information as soon as commercially practicable.

International Transfers. We may transfer information that we collect about you to affiliated entities, or other third parties across borders and from your country or jurisdiction to other countries or jurisdictions around the world. Please note that these countries and jurisdictions may not have the same data protection laws as your own jurisdiction, and we take steps to ensure adequate safeguards are in place.

Your Privacy Choices

Your Choices About Information Provided by You. If you do not want to provide us with personal information, then you can choose not to provide it. If you choose not to provide us with personal information, we may not always be able to provide you with the Services you want. For example, without providing an email address, you cannot create an email account with us.

Your Marketing and Advertising Choices. You can exercise choices over how we use your personal information and update your preferences. If you opt out of receiving email marketing communications from us, please note we may still contact you occasionally about the status of your account or for other transactional information.

Accessing and Deleting Your Information. You may request deactivation of your account, access, correction, or deletion of personal data by contacting us through in-app support, subject to law and records we must keep (such as completed payments). You can switch language in the header; that preference is stored on your device. You can bind a Google or email account so progress is not limited to one browser. You can stop using the Service and clear site data in your browser. Clearing data may log out a guest account.

If you are a California resident, the following information also applies to you and supplements the information contained in the Policy.

In the past 12 months, we have collected identifiers (such as email address, IP address, unique personal identifier, account username, third-party account names); internet or other electronic network activity information (browser type and language, device and hardware information, watch data, and other information regarding your interactions with our Services); commercial information (records of products purchased); geo-location data (general geolocation based on IP address); and profiles and inferences drawn from the information identified above.

hotshorts does not sell personal information about our users. We do not disclose your personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to access, know, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, opt out of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, limit the use of sensitive personal information to permitted purposes, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
